This Contract Concerns Work To Secure And Reinforce A Section Of 800Mm Steel Overhead Pipe, Approximately 500 Meters Long, Located In Upper Corsica, In The Town Of Lugo Di Nazza Along The Fiumorbu River On The Right Bank. Located On The Slopes Of Punta Razzete, This Raw Water Pipe Was Laid During The Late 1950S On An Open Track In An Asbestos-Bearing Rock: Serpentine. The Work Carried Out In Difficult Access Conditions Was Carried Out From Upstream To Downstream, Gradually Closing Access To The Site By Laying The Pipe Overhead. Supply To This Site Is Planned By Cable Car. This Involves Replacing The 800Mm Pipe With A 1,000Mm Pipe And Securing The Site With Geotechnical And Civil Engineering Reinforcement Works.
