Work Detail
Tenders are invited for Engineering Data Hub Consolidation - Expro+ Objectives: To complement the Model Based Engineering Data Hub with features related to data governance (security, configuration management), traceability, trade-off, and data exploitation. Description A number of Agencies/industry working groups, such as the Digital Spacecraft Think Tank (DtSC TT) and the Model Based for System Engineering Advisory Group (MB4SE AG), are currently working on the problem of interoperability of tools. Interoperability of tools is supported by a Data Hub in charge of exchanging data. A firstversion is under development. This activity will complement it with the findings by the DtSC TT, mainly on security, configuration management and traceability. It aims at adding features identified in the MB4SE AGs Users Needs such as document generation, automatic budget calculation, trade-off, and dashboard production. It shall complement it with the results of a number of MBSE OSIP and TDE activities currently running and to configure it with the latest version of the Space System Ontology. Complements related to security: (1) mapping of security engineering concepts and semantics to those of system engineering - establishment of security granularity of data sets-, (2) bridging gaps in modelling fidelity between (early phase) system models and that required for security analysis, (3) link to the recent ECSS standards on security, (4) lack of adequate tooling. Complements related to configuration managementof the entire body of system knowledge: Decide on a configuration management policy between the modelling tools, the data hub or the infrastructure backbone. Address data governance and data management resulting from the DtSC data management group. Traceability: To demonstrate the compliance/traceability between the layer of system definition (system level N and N+1) based on model definition. To define a methodology allowing the traceability demonstration between the "needs model based" vs "solution model based" following the system lifecycle management with associated documents. Model based traceability Policy has to be defined to keep trace of the model baseline sources so that a requested update of a document can be performed based on the model relying on the state corresponding to the authoring document generation. This activity encompasses the following tasks:- Specification of the missing functionalities;- Design and development;- Verification and validation;- Demonstration on an exchange use case;- Feedback to the ontology as needed.Software shall be delivered under an ESA Software Community Licence. A future activity could bethe deployment of the Data Hub in an industrial context. Read less Tender Link : https://esastar-publication-ext.sso.esa.int/ESATenderActions/filter/open
