Tenders are invited for LISA Isolation Valve Procurement Each LISA TPS will consist of 2 normally closed Isolation Valves (IV), which will be single use and non-pyrotechnic in nature. These will be located in the high-pressure region of the TPS, with a MEOP of 186 bar. One IV will be responsible for isolating the high-pressure gaseous xenon (GXe) from the downstream mechanical pressure regulator (MPR) during launch, and the other will isolate the high pressure GXe from a non-propulsive venting device (NPVD). Due to the purpose and location of these IVs, they will need to be considered as 2 sequential barriers to the external environment to abide by launch site regulations. Before starting the transfer phase, the IV in the main flow will be actuated, allowing GXe to flow to the MPR. Once the transfer phase is complete, the second IV will be actuated in order to vent any remaining GXe from the NPVD prior to initiating the science phase of the mission. The procurement of the IV will be conducted in line with the ESA Best Practices for the Selection of Subcontractors by Prime Contractors in the frame of ESAs Major Procurements. Additional requirements on geo-return may be specified in the ITT data package. Read less Tender Link : https://esastar-publication-ext.sso.esa.int/nonEsaTenderActions/filter/open
