Bids Are Requested For On Call Spot Leveling At Various Locations In The County. The Contract Will Consist Of Providing The Asphalt, Spreader, Rollers, Tack Kettle, Water Truck, Equipment/Truck Operators And Replacement Striping. The Contractor Will Also Provide Traffic Control And Shoulder Scraping. The Contractor Will Need To Be Available Within 3 Weeks For Each Job Request Unless There Is An Emergency Situation Where A Road Needs Immediate Repairs. In This Case The Contractor Will Need To Be Available Within 3 Days. There Will Not Be A Mobilization Fee, But A Minimum Of 100 Tons Will Be Set For Each Call. There May Be Several Sites In The County For Each Call, With The 100+ Tons Being The Total For All Sites. Payment Will Be Made Per Ton For Hauling And Spreading. The Contract Will Begin On April 1, 2026 And End On March 31, 2027. Tattnall County Maintenance Forces Will Replace Base Material If Needed. **See Attached Bid Package For More Information.
