Planting And Maintenance Services Of Green Areas – Framework Agreement For Ecological Roadside Management: Mowing Of Roadsides For The Period 2026 - 2030. The Assignment Includes The Ecological Mowing Of The Road Verges And, Where Necessary, The Adjacent Canals, With Removal Of The Clippings To A Recognized Processor. In Particular, The Assignment Is Aimed At Developing More Varied And Stable Biotopes, Increasing The Ecological Value Of The Roadsides (Taking Into Account Traffic And Other Preconditions), Aiming For Better Management In Which, In Addition To The Ecological Aspect, The Cleanliness Within The Municipal Boundaries Is Also Addressed And Improved. Within The Territory Of Grimbergen, The Following Mowing Periods Are Applied, Depending On The Type Of Verge: • Main Mowing: The Verges Are Mowed Twice A Year * Between Mid-June And Mid-July; * Between Mid-September And Mid-October. • Safety Mowing: For Roadsides Where Road Safety Requires This, Additional Safety Mowing Is Carried Out In One Or More Of The Following Periods: * 1St Half Of May; * 1St Half Of August. Safety Mowing Is Limited To The Strictly Necessary Zones (Sight Lines, Intersections, Signs). This Concerns A Framework Agreement With One Service Provider, All Conditions Are Known, For A Period Of 4 Years.
