General Procurement Notice for Digital Agricultural Service Provider to and Accountingplatform and Push Location Specific Agronomic Data, Weather Data and Early Warning Systems for Rice Farmers and Processors in 13 Adp Countries Strengthening Adaptation to Climate Change of Rice Value Chains in West Africa The (Africa Rice Center (AfricaRice) has received a grant from the African Development Bank/African Development Fund/Nigeria Trust Fund to finance the (Strengthening Adaptation to Climate Change of Rice Value Chains in West Africa (REWARD-Adaptation). 2. The principal objectives of the REWARD-Adaptation project is to strengthen the adaptation of rice value chains to climate change in West Africa by: (i) Scaling up adoption of climate-smart rice production technologies and practices; (ii) Facilitating access of rice producers and processors to climate services and early warning systems; (iii) Promoting climate-resilient rice processing technologies and practices; and (iv) supporting community-based enterprises and private sector to adopt climate-resilient innovations in rice value chains in West Africa The procurement methods for the REWARD-Adaptation project will include: a) Goods and non-consultancy Services b) Consultancy Services Firms c) Individual Consultancy Services d) Agreements with Public Institutions Goods and non-consultancy services are as follows: (i) T-shirts, caps, banners, workshop booklet and printouts, (ii) soil moisture meters, direct seeders, transplanters, mechanical weeders, (iii) Soil analysis kit, spectrophotometers, LiCOR sensors for soil health analysis, water quality test kit, (iv) 4x4 vehicles, (v) Rapid Visco-Analysis System, (vi) TV Screens 85 inch, Sound system, Cables, (vii) Laptops, Telephones, UPS / Inverter system to protect electric shock protection to conference equipment, network equipment spares (Cisco Switch CBS350-24P-4G 24 Port Gigabit PoE, WIFI Ubiquiti access point Mesh Pro), Security System, Firewall FortiGate 101 F, (viii) Interpretation equipment, (xi) Furniture, Lighting system, Air conditioners, Toilet facilities, (x) Automatic weather stations, (xi) Chairs, Tables, Voltage regulators, (xii) Destoners, hermetic bags and moisture meters (xiii) Interpretation services for various workshops (xiv) Transportation services for distribution of breeder seeds to countries Tender Link : https://www.afdb.org/en/projects-and-operations/procurement
