Prior Information Notice For Public Transport Services By Railways – Assignment Of Day And Night, Medium And Long-Distance Passenger Rail Transport Services Of National Interest Subject To A Public Service Obligation Regime Under The Jurisdiction Of The Ministry Of Infrastructure And Transport. The Assignment Of The Service In Question Concerns Medium And Long-Distance Rail Transport Services, Day And Night, Under The Responsibility Of The Ministry Of Infrastructure And Transport Starting Presumably From 1 January 2028. The Services Will Be Awarded For A Maximum Duration Of 15 Years, Through A Single Award Of 15 Years Or 10 Years, With Possible Contractual Renewal/Extension Of A Further 5 Years. The Estimate Of The Annual Kilometric Offer Of The Aforementioned Services, Covering The Entire National Territory, Amounts To Approximately 25.1 Million Trains*Km. The Estimated Amount Due For The Provision Of The Same Services Amounts To Approximately 365 Million Euros Per Year.
