Basmeh & Zeitooneh seeks to contract a Beekeeping Trainer to deliver technical and practical training for women participants. All training activities must be completed by April 7th, 2026. A. Training Delivery Deliver structured training sessions (theoretical and practical) to a group of 10 women on beekeeping practices. Provide training on topics including, but not limited to: Beehive components and management Hive installation and safe handling Bee production and swarming Harvesting and post-harvest practices Queen breeding Bee health, pests, and diseases B. Technical Support & Follow-Up Provide continuous technical support throughout the contract period by: Supporting the application of best beekeeping practices in the field Delivering training content in clear and simple Arabic, tailored to Lebanese and Syrian women Preparing technical reports that highlight participant progress and key recommendations Providing follow-up support to participants for six months after the training C. Bill of Quantities (BoQ) Develop a detailed BoQ in English including required tools, equipment, materials, technical specifications, and estimated quantities. D. Community Engagement & Coordination Coordinate closely with field teams regarding scheduling, distribution, follow-up, field visits, and practical sessions to ensure smooth implementation. E. Safety, Protection & Compliance Promote environmentally friendly and safe beekeeping practices. Comply with all organizational policies, safeguarding standards, donor requirements, and Basmeh & Zeitooneh values. Education & Experience Bachelors degree in Agriculture, Beekeeping, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field, or at least 10 years of practical experience in beekeeping. Certified training in beekeeping with proven experience delivering both theoretical and practical sessions. Experience working with refugees, vulnerable populations, or community-based organizations is an asset. Strong practical background in honey harvesting, wax, royal jelly and pollen production, queen breeding, and related fields. Functional Competencies Solid technical knowledge of beekeeping. Ability to train women aged 1840 years. Experience in developing training materials and conducting practical demonstrations. Ability to assess participants suitability for the activity. Behavioral Competencies Strong communication, facilitation, and community engagement skills. Patience and empathy when working with vulnerable groups. Creativity in identifying low-cost and innovative beekeeping solutions. Strong problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team. Flexibility to adapt to field realities. High level of professionalism, accountability, and attention to detail.
