The Location Of The Equipment Is The Radiotherapy Unit Of The South Karelia Central Hospital. South Karelias Radiotherapy Unit Belongs To The Cancer Treatment Unit Of South Karelias Welfare Area. The Radiotherapy Unit Has Two Linear Accelerators (Varian Truebeam 2011, Varian Truebeam 2021). Radiologys Siemens Pet-Tt Equipment Is Used As A Dose Planning Imaging Device. The Radiotherapy Dose Planning Software Is Eclipse (Varian) And The Information System Is Aria (Varian). The Unit Provides Versatile Radiotherapy To Cancer Patients Both In Its Own District And Also In Other Nearby Hospital Districts. The Equipment To Be Acquired Now Will Replace The Varian Truebeam Accelerator Purchased In 2011. The Delivery Address Of The Equipment Is Etelä-Karelia Central Hospital, Valto Käkelä Katu 1, 53130 Lappeenranta. The Publication Date Of The Procurement Notice Will Be Specified As The Preparation Progresses And It Will Be Published Conditionally.
