Tenders are invited for Conducting Comprehensive Community Assessment in Wadi El Karm and its Surrounding Areas. The consultancy team will be responsible for conducting comprehensive community assessment in Wadi el Karm and its surrounding areas. The assessment should generate actionable insights that inform the design and implementation of the project. It should ensure that womens perspectives and experiences are well represented and highlighted. At a minimum, the consultancy team will undertake the following tasks: 3.1. Preparatory Work Review all relevant project documents, including the proposal and activity plans. Visit Arisheh center to better understand the project. Coordinate with the project team to update the methodology 3.2. The assessment In the region of Wadi el Karm and its surrounding localities, this assessment will, according to the objectives, at a minimum: Objective 1: Explore access of vulnerable groups, especially people with disabilities to basic services, especially environment inclusion level and gaps in service provision. Explore the local effects of climate change or environmental risks and environmental engagement of stakeholders, especially people living with disabilities Objective 2: Analyze the main factors influencing social stability within local communities: To ensure feasibility and depth of analysis, the assessment should be clearly delimited by focusing on selected population groups (such as children, parents/caregivers, and persons with disabilities) and/or a defined proportion of the population. These limitations are intended to keep the scope manageable while ensuring meaningful and actionable findings. Identify and analyze the projects stakeholders who can influence or be affected by the project: children and youth, communities, schools, CSOs, local authorities, vulnerable groups, including people with disabilities and their caregivers, disability organizations. Identify intra-community social divisors and connectors, including factors that may exacerbate tensions or hinder the inclusion of marginalized groups, as well as social connectors that can be strengthened to promote social cohesion, stability, and inclusionparticularly in relation to environmental stewardship. The analysis of social stability, connectors, and dividers will be guided by prejudices and preconceptions, lack of trust, problem-oriented and reactive tendencies, and perceived unfairness in the distribution of limited resources. 3.3 Deliverables The Consultancy team shall be responsible for delivering the following outputs: Updated Methodology / Inception Report, detailing the assessment approach, tools, and any refinements to the proposed methodology. Detailed Work Plan, including a calendar of activities (e.g. meetings, FGDs, KIIs), outlining timelines and modalities for engaging with relevant stakeholders and community members. Community Assessment Report Draft Version, submitted for validation and feedback, including analysis of findings, data visualization, and preliminary recommendations. The report should clearly identify community connectors and divisors and analyze the role of targeted stakeholders. Community Assessment Report Final Version, incorporating feedback received and including an Executive Summary. PowerPoint Presentation, presenting key findings and recommendations to ALPHA staff and relevant consultants. Final Mission Report, providing a comprehensive overview of the assignment, methodology applied, activities conducted, challenges encountered, and overall conclusions. How to apply The consultancy team should be a company or NGO - A detailed CV highlighting relevant experience for all the consultancy team members. - A detailed technical proposal outlining their understanding of the assignment, proposed methodology, tools, workplan and timeframe, team structure, roles and responsibilities. - List of the most relevant previous consulting projects completed, including a description of the projects and role in these consultancies. - A minimum of 3 references from previous clients for similar projects of the same nature to the one in this TOR. - A financial proposal with a detailed budget breakdown Documents to be shared: [email protected] Tender Link : https://www.daleel-madani.org/calls-for-proposal
