The Municipality Of Crowsnest Pass (Municipality) Is A Community With An Unparalleled Natural Setting Located Within The Southwest Corner Of The Province Of Alberta. The Municipality Has A Multitude Of Trails Within Its Boundaries And Extending Into The Surrounding Region. The Municipality Maintains A Primary East/West Trail Called The Crowsnest Community Trail. In Partnership With The United Riders Of Crowsnest, An Extensive Amount Of Mountain Biking Trails Have Been Developed On The Pass Powderkeg Resort. There Are Also Numerous Trails Of Various Uses Within The Public Lands Extending Out From The Urban Community. The Municipality Is Seeking Qualified Consultants To Provide Professional Consulting Services With Regards To The Creation Of A Trails Master Plan. This Is The First Trails Master Plan For The Municipality And It Will Need To Establish Guidelines For The Municipality’S Trail Network Upgrades And Provide Strategies, Actions, And Priorities To Implement Trail Projects In The Municipality Over The Next 25 Years And Beyond. The Purpose Of This Request For Proposal (Rfp) Is For Interested Professional Consulting Firms To Prepare And Submit A Formal Response To This Request In Accordance With The Requirements Outlined Within. Submitted Information Will Be Reviewed By The Municipality And Evaluated To Select A Firm To Undertake The Data Collection, Modelling And Plan Development As Outlined Below.
