Onsite Contract Campground Management For 2026 Season Forfar Recreation Park (Ne & Nw-25-64-25-W4m) And/Or Hope Lake Campground (Sw-34-65-18-W4m) Rfp Rec2026-01 Athabasca County Is Seeking Proposals From Interested Proponents For The Onsite Contract Management Of Either Or Both Forfar Recreation Park And Hope Lake Campground For The 2026 Season. • Forfar Recreation Park Is A 73-Stall Site (Plus A Group Site), Un-Serviced Campground Located At Long Lake, 43Km Southwest Of The Town Of Athabasca. • Hope Lake Campground Is A 53-Stall Site (Plus A Group Site), Un-Serviced Campground Located At Hope Lake, Approximately 20Km Northeast Of The Village Of Boyle. • The Contract Management Will Be Provided With A Serviced Park Model Trailer Onsite That Will Serve As A Living Quarters And Campground Office At Both Forfar Recreation Park And Hope Lake Campground. • The Campgrounds Both Feature A Sani-Dump, Cookhouses, Outhouses, Playgrounds, An Administrative Office With A General Store, And A Boat Launch With Day Use Area. The Campsites Are Furnished With Fire Pits And Picnic Tables By The County. • The Campground(S) Typically Operate From The Beginning Of May Until The End Of September, Weather Dependent.
