Tenders are invited for Establishment of Two Apple Demo Plots The Strengthening Rural Development in Lebanon project is aiming to create a new, more equitable and resilient production system in the apple value chain both at the individual level (small-scale agricultural producers) and collectively (through cooperatives), funded by the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID). RMF is seeking to establish two apple demo plots (one in Blawza (North Lebanon) and one in Ainata Baalbek-Hermel). The two locations have already been identified and the demo-plots will consist of an existing apple orchard section and a newly planted 2 dunum trellis system in each location. The purpose of the demo-plots is to teach GAP and diversification techniques, including new apple varieties on new production systems (trellis). Kinldy check the attached BOQ for more information.
