Social Services – Network Of Social Services In The Municipalities Of Gortynia, Megalopolis, Oichalia & Tripoli. Personalized Social Inclusion & Poverty Risk Reduction Services. The Network Of Social Services Action In The Municipalities Of Gortynia, Megalopolis, Oichalia & Tripoli Is Part Of Intervention Category (K.P.) 4.5 Of The 2021-2027 Pdam Which Concerns Socio-Economic Inclusion, With An Emphasis On Unemployed Youth, Unemployed Mothers, Long-Term Unemployed, Economically Inactive People, People Facing The Risk Of Poverty & Social Exclusion. The Intervention Area According To The Available Data Shows A Significant Index Of Poverty / Risk Of Poverty. Indicatively In The Period 2021-2023, Within The Framework Of The European Aid Fund For The Needy, 7,961 People (6,166 Adults And 1,795 Children) Received Food Aid In The Intervention Area, According To The Accounts Of The Arcadia Social Partnership. The Purpose Of The Action Is To Develop A Network Of Social Services, In Addition To The Services Already Provided, Throughout The Intervention Area. This Development Will Be Based On The Personalized Approach To The Beneficiaries And Their Families, Both Through The Expansion Of The Service Hours And The Access Points For Providing The Services And Serving The Beneficiaries. The Provided Social Services Will Follow The Methodological Approach Of Social Mentoring And Will Focus On The Prevention Of The Risk Of Poverty And Especially Child Poverty, The Prevention Of The Marginalization Of Young People, The Empowerment Of Beneficiaries, The Improvement Of The Quality Of Life With Additional Creative Activities, Linked To Socialization, The Active Support Of Social Integration And The Preparation Of Individuals Who Are Members Of Vulnerable Groups For Their Sustainable Integration/Reintegration Into The Labor Market.
