Telephone And Data Transmission Services – Awarding Of Network Leases And Network Operating Contracts For The Operation Of A Gigabit-Capable Broadband Network In Ortenaukreis (Phase 2) As Part Of The So-Called Operator Model. The Ortenau District And 47 Cities And Municipalities Belonging To The District Have Set Themselves The Goal Of Jointly Building An Nga Network In The Underserved Areas Of Their Areas And Ensuring Its Long-Term Operation. According To This Funding Regime, The Expansion In Phase 1 Referred To Areas That Were Previously Accessible With A Download Data Rate Of Less Than 30 Mbit/S. The Expansion Of This First Phase Has Largely Been Completed. This Will Be Followed By The Expansion Of Phases 2 To 5. The Bokg Will Carry Out The Procedures For Awarding Network Leases And Network Operating Contracts For Nationwide Broadband Expansion In The Operator Model For Phases 2 To 5 In Parallel. The Subject Of This Procedure Is The Expansion Of Phase 2. In This Context, The Bokg Would Like To Develop A Gigabit-Capable Network For The Previously Underserved Address Points In The Areas Listed Below. Municipalities Will Build Expansion Areas Defined In More Detail In The Phase 2 Service Description On The Basis Of Technical Planning That Has Yet To Be Finalized And Use The Funding Applied For For Planning And Construction. Planning And Construction Services Are Not The Subject Of This Award. Bokgs Expansion Goal Is To Achieve Comprehensive Nga Supply In The Areas Listed Below. To Ensure Municipalities And To Provide The Address Points That Are Still Underserved With A Data Rate Of At Least 1 Gbit/S Symmetrically.
