Architectural, Construction, Engineering And Inspection Services – Replacement Of Parts Of The Copper Roof On Aarhus Cathedral. Aarhus Cathedral (St. Clemens Church) Is Located On Store Torv, Cathedral Square In Aarhus Municipality. The Cathedral Dates Back To The Year 1200 And Has Been Rebuilt Several Times Over Time, Including As A Result Of Several Fires. The Characteristic Roof And Spire In Particular Have Had Different Designs Over Time. The Current Spire Originates From The Most Recent Major Restoration 1907 -1930S By The Architects Hack Kampmann And Mogens Clemmensen And Is A Reconstruction According To The Romanesque Model From The Year 1500, Based On Historical Sources. The Spires Copper Covering And Parts Of The Copper Roof On The Low Roofs Are Broken Down, Leaky And Loose In The Staples. A Temporary Safeguard Has Been Put In Place, But The Roofs Are Expected To Be Replaced Within A Shorter Number Of Years, Incl. Follow-Up Work And Fire Protection Measures On The Ceilings.
