The City Of Velen Intends To Build A New Fire Station On Municipal Property At The Southern Entrance To Ramsdorf. According To The Bhkg (Law On Fire Protection, Assistance And Disaster Protection 2021), The City Of Velen, As A Body Responsible For Public Affairs, Is Obliged To Have A Fire Department That Can Respond To Local Conditions. The Now Outdated Building On The Gräfte In The Middle Of The Town Center Of Ramsdorf No Longer Corresponds To The State Of The Art And Applicable Occupational Safety Standards. For This Reason, The City Of Velen Would Like To Build A Contemporary And Functional Building For Its Fire Department. Due To The Limited Space Available On The Existing Property In The Town Center, The Current Tool Shed Cannot Be Adequately Expanded.
