Request for proposals for Mechanical & Auto Electrical Repairs. The Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Ltd (ANCL), calls for services for the pre - approval of external garages/workshops to undertake Company Vehicle repairs. Scope of Services The Pre-approved garages / workshops shall be required to provide comprehensive vehicle repair and maintenance services, including but not limited to the following: 1. Mechanical Repairs Engine diagnostics, repair and overhaul Suspension system repairs Brake system repairs and replacements Gear Box, Clutch and transmission repairs Steering system repairs Cooling system repairs (Radiators, water pumps, hoses) Exhaust system repairs Fuel system repairs 2. Auto Electrical Repairs Electrical diagnostics and fault finding Starter motor and alternator repairs or replacement Battery testing, supply and installation Lighting system repairs (headlights, indicators, wiring) Electronic control, systems and warning systems Wiring repairs and replacements 3. General Requirements Provision of qualified and experienced technicians Use of Genuine or approved equivalent spare parts Ability to respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency repairs Provision of repair warranties where applicable Compliance with safety, environmental and company standards Interested parties may obtain further details from Senior Manager Transport on 011 2429669 from 9.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. during the office hours. Proposals including Company Profile, References, contact details and copies of the License/permits with financial proposals for the above should be sent in a sealed envelope marked as "Mechanical and Auto Electrical Repairs" on the top left hand corner and sent to Head of Procurement, The Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Ltd, No. 35, D.R.
