Tenders are invited for Website Development (Website Design and Development) The service required: The service aims to contract with an expert to redesign and develop the website of the Culture and Free Thought Association, so that it becomes accessible and easy to use for all groups, including people with disabilities, as follows: The expected outcome of the contract is: · Prepare a comprehensive evaluation report of the current website, including design, programming, content, and accessibility, highlighting strengths and weaknesses and providing practical, actionable recommendations to support the redesign and development process. · A user-friendly website compatible with all categories · Accessibility according to accessibility standards for people with disabilities . · Present the associations services and programs in a flexible and seamless manner with a distinctive UI/UX design that reflects the associations visual identity. · A bilingual website (Arabic and English) with visual and structural coherence between pages and the ability to instantly translate using artificial intelligence tools or Copilot. · It works seamlessly on mobile devices and computers. · Prepare a follow-up report detailing the results after development to ensure work quality and ease of use. · methodology: This process will be carried out systematically and in an organized manner through the following steps: 1. Evaluation and analysis phase: · A comprehensive assessment of the current website in terms of design, programming, content, and accessibility in both Arabic and English. Consultative sessions with target users, including people with disabilities, to understand their needs and challenges. Definition and review of the existing visual identity in collaboration with the associations management. Design and development phase · Develop a detailed action plan for the design and development phases based on the evaluation results and with the approval of the associations management . Design prototypes for the main pages (home, services, programs, news, impact stories, transparency, complaints, contact, etc.). Adopt a visual design consistent with the corporate identity (colors, fonts, icons, Arabic-English compatibility). Support the design by adapting colors, fonts, and sizes to meet the needs of people with disabilities. · Control panel support for loading images with voice reading 2. Implementation and testing phase: · Website programming using ASP.NET or PHP Laravel - Development of a control panel and content management system to facilitate continuous updates - Creation of a secure complaint form with automatic confirmation, reference number, and estimated response time - Linking the homepage with other social media tools - Improving website speed and user experience on mobile devices - Enhancing SEO for accessibility and improving website ranking in search engines - Accessibility testing: zoomable text, appropriate contrast colors, keyboard navigation, image and video descriptions, translations/captions, etc. -Adapting content for people with disabilities through: audio and sign language videos, sign language interpreter magnification, color contrast and large font, audio and visual alerts, and increased image size. · Developing the complaints system on the website so that there are permissions in the control panel to follow up on complaints - transferring complaints for follow-up - following up on complaints through the username or the available communication method - securing the privacy of complaints according to the protection systems within the Culture and Free Thought Association - creating accounts on the control panel with permissions to follow up on the complaint (there will be clear models for the nature of complaints and their management - Portal management ) Developing registration and complaints pages with an accessible map, directional signs, and audio and signage support tools. 3. Maintenance and sustainability phase: · Providing detailed recommendations for routine site maintenance and content updates to ensure continued accessibility · Training the team on website management and producing easily accessible content · Submitting a comprehensive report summarizing the changes and achievements made, along with delivering the necessary code for any future development. · Submit the source code after final testing. The tasks that the contracting party will perform: · Comprehensive accessibility assessment : Current website and social media platforms. Feedback gathering and consultation : Sessions with staff, stakeholders, and target users. Website redesign and development : Designing user-friendly interfaces, a secure complaint form, a transparency page for policies and reports, etc. (subject to approval by the associations management). Testing and verification : Practical tests to ensure the effectiveness of the modifications and accessibility. Training and capacity building : Training the team on website management. Reporting : Submission of a gap analysis report and a final report summarizing the methodology, findings, and future recommendations. The Culture and Free Thought Association will be fully responsible for this contract, and the contractor must communicate only with the Culture and Free Thought Association and not share any contract-related matters with any other party.
