Bids Are Invited For Mulrfq 2627-2 - Production Insurance Arbitration Services

Interested Suppliers Are Invited To Submit A Response To This Mulrfq For The Opportunity To Be Evaluated And Determined Whether They Are Eligible To Be Added To The Ministry’S Multi-Use List Of Qualified Suppliers Of Arbitration Services. The List Of Qualified Suppliers Will Be In Effect Until March 31, 2032.As Described In Section 8, On A Non-Exclusive “As, If And When Requested” Basis, Qualified Suppliers May Be Sent Competition Notices Providing The Opportunity To Compete To Provide Services To The Ministry.Only Qualified Suppliers Will Be Sent And May Respond To Competition Notices That May Issue From This Mulrfq. No Competition Notices Will Be Issued Before The Initial Intake.Unless Otherwise Indicated, This Mulrfq Is Also Intended To Identify And Evaluate Qualified Resources By Reviewing The Qualifications Of Specific Employees Or Subcontractors Proposed By Respondents. If Specific Resources Are Evaluated As Part Of This Mulrfq, Qualified Resources, As Key Personnel Of The Contractor Will Be Required To Perform The Services Under Any Contract That Results From A Competition Notice That Is Issued Under The Mulrfq.The Services Include Performing The Duties Of Arbitrator For The Canada-British Columbia Production Insurance Program According To The Process Outlined In The Arbitration Clause Of The Policy Wordings For The Continuous Specified Perils Crop Insurance Contracts, As, If, And When Required. A Willingness To Offer Your Services Is Appreciated By The Ministry And Helps Ensure That Insured Farmers In Bc View The Dispute Resolution Process As Fair And Of Positive Value.The Term Of This Contract, Should A Draw Down From This Rfq Be Issued, Is From And Including April 1, 2026, To And Including March 31, 2027. At The Sole Discretion Of The Ministry Of Agriculture And Food, The Business Risk Management Branch Has An Option To Extend This For Five Additional One-Year Terms. The Ministry May Issue More Than One Contract For These Services.The Services Are Described In Greater Detail, Including In Section 5 And The Appendices.
