Tenders are invited for Hiring a Firm for Translation and Interpretation Services. Location: Kigali Deadline: Monday, 19/01/2026 15:00 Background The Forum for African Women Educationalists (FAWE) is a Pan African womens organization founded in 1992, headquartered in Nairobi Kenya, its mission is to promote access to quality education of girls and women as means of fostering sustainable development. FAWE Rwanda was established in 1997, is one of the 34 chapters across Africa. Since its inception, FAWE Rwanda has become a recognized partner and focal point in advancing girls and womens education in Rwanda. FAWE Rwanda intends to establish a pool of qualified Service Providers for professional interpretation and translation services who may be invited to submit quotations on a need basis. 2.Scope of Services The selected service provider(s) will provide professional interpretation and translation services upon request. The services may include, but are not limited to: 2.1 Interpretation Services Simultaneous interpretation Consecutive interpretation Whispered interpretation Interpretation for: Meetings, Workshops and trainings, Conferences, Field activities, Virtual/online meetings 2.2.Translation Services Translation of documents, including: Reports, Policies and strategies, Training materials, Research and assessment reports, Communication materials, Official correspondence Editing and proofreading of translated documents Localization of content to suit target audiences 2.3. Languages Services may be required in the following languages (but not limited to):English, Kinyarwanda, French Other languages may be requested depending on organizational needs. 3. Eligibility and Mandatory Required Interested and eligible applicant must submit the following documents for administrative and technical evaluation; Official letter addressed to the Executive Director of FAWE Rwanda expressing interest in this lot Valid Company Registration Certificate issued by RDB Valid Tax Clearance Certificate offered by Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA) At least 3 certificates of successful completion of similar services 4.Proposal submission Interested Firms meeting the above criteria are invited to submit their expression of interest in hard copy tothe following physical address FAWE Rwanda REB premises, Remera, B.P 6703, Kigali, Rwanda, submission must be received t not later than 19th January 2026 at 3:00pm Rwandan time 5.
