The Objective Of This Contract Includes The Complete Performance Of The “Maintenance And Operation Of Paicaví, Andalién, Collao And Valle Las Rosas Rainwater Lifting Plants” Service. Located In The Communes Of Concepción And San Pedro De La Paz, According To The Procedures That The Technical Unit, In This Case Serviu Biobío Region, Hereinafter “Serviu”, Has For The Purpose And Execution Of The Respective Contracts Until The Approval Of The Contracted Service. The Serviu Biobío Region Has Four Rainwater Lifting Plants, Located In: 1. Peall Paicaví, Located On Av. Paicaví With The Railway Underpass On Calle Vicuña Mackenna, Andalién Sector, Commune Of Concepción 2. Peall Andalién, Located On Vicuña Mackenna Street With The Railway Underpass On Av. Andalién, Commune Of Concepción 3. Peall Collao, Located On Av. Juan Bosco At The Underpass Of The Intersection With Av. Collao, Collao Sector, Commune Of Concepción 4. Peall Las Rozas, Located On Las Ilusiones Street And Las Torres Street, In The Valle Las Rosas Sector, Commune Of San Pedro De La Paz. The Maintenance And Operation Service To Be Contracted Includes The Collection Of Rainwater A.Ll. Through A System Composed Of Drains And Collectors Located At The Low Points Of The Road. From There, They Flow By Gravity To The Peall Well, Where Submersible Pumps Are Responsible For Propelling Them To The Corresponding Discharges. The Operation Of The Peall Must Be Maintained Permanently During Periods Of Rain, Especially When High Intensity Events Occur. In The Rest Of The Time, Cleaning Tasks, Scheduled Maintenance, Repairs When Appropriate And Priority Attention Must Be Carried Out In Case Of Failures Related To The Electrical Supply, Generators, Pumps Or Obstructions In The Collection Elements And Their Collectors. In The Biobío Region, The Climate — And In Particular The Rainfall Regime — Has Changed In Recent Years. The Increase In Intense Rains In Short Periods Has Become More Frequent, Even Outside The Winter Season. For This Reason, Peall Must Always Remain Operational, With Permanent Monitoring, Cleaning And Maintenance. Consequently, The Service Must Operate 24 Hours A Day, 7 Days A Week, Throughout The Duration Of The Contract.
