Any disbursement under the signed contract will be subject to the Banks approval of financing. The Djiboutian Roads Agency (ADR) is the executing agency of the project Services Required The services under this contract consist of effectively and efficiently supervising and controlling the rehabilitation works of a priority section of urban roads in Djibouti (5 km). The mission includes nine specific objectives: Ensure continuous technical control of the works carried out by the contractor. Ensure compliance with the execution documents (APD plans) and technical specifications. Ensure that documents prepared by the contractor comply with Environmental and Social safeguards. Ensure conformity of materials and implementation methods. Ensure implementation of the environmental and social management plan throughout the works. Control hydraulic works and flood protection according to hydrological studies (structures sized for a 10-year return period). Monitor adherence to deadlines, budget, and safety on site. Advise the project owner in case of technical modifications or unforeseen issues. Ensure provisional and final acceptance of the works. The total duration of the mission is 18 months. 3.
