Expression of Interest for Assessment of Sustainable Tourism and Marine Pollution Awareness Initiative - Surf City, El Salvador The objective of this task is to help El Salvador enhance the understanding of pollution reaching the ocean and promote sustainable tourism in Surf City. This will be achieved by formulating a comprehensive strategy to address marine and coastal pollution, focusing on sustainable tourism practices, including clear impact indicators (KPIs) to measure pollution reduction and sustainable tourism growth. Additionally, efforts will be made to raise awareness about marine pollution and its impact on tourism, in alignment with the Tourism National Plan 2030, particularly Axis 1 (Eje 1), related to the sustainable planning and management of terrestrial, coastal, and marine tourism spaces.
