The Roads Mainly Serve Local Traffic And Agricultural Crops And Greenhouses, And At Times Of The Day Their Traffic Is Burdened By Various Processing Or Service Units, Which Operate Scattered In The Area. Each Street Is Contributed By Vertically Smaller Streets. In The Area/Street Selected By The Delta Municipality, There Will Either Be Improvement Of The Roads With Surface Restoration Or Complete Reconstruction, Or Construction Of New Urban Roads Mainly In The Expansions Of The Settlements Or Additions To Roads Outside The Plan. They Are Located In The Settlements And Peri-Urban Areas Of Kymina, N. Malgara, Anatoliko, Chalastra, Sindos, N. Magnesia, Diavati And Kalochori (In 4 Sections). In Southern Chalastra, The Ring Road, After Being Underground With A Pipeline, Is Planned To Become A Pedestrian Street On The Surface Of The Ground. Finally, Because There Are A Number Of Other Roads With A Number Of Localized Problems And Damages, It Is Foreseen That There Will Be Fixed Amounts Of Work, With Which They Will Be Restored. A Total Of 45 Roads Were Selected, With A Length Of Interventions Of Approximately 45 Km. Of The Above Roads, 34 Are Paved. Of These, 13 Have Minor Damage And Surface Restoration Will Be Done On Them And 21 Are Asphalt-Coated But With The Surface Layer Damaged In Places Up To A Depth Of 15-20 Centimeters. They Are Of Variable Width (5.00 To 8.00 Meters) And Will Be Completely Reconstructed. In The Remaining 13 Roads/Areas, There Is Currently Dirt Or They Have Different Characteristics Than Planned (Construction Of 2 Roundabouts Or A Pedestrian Ditch) Or They Are Sections With Dirt On Already Asphalted Roads. Urban Roads Will Be Built In All Of Them, Either With Sidewalks In The Areas Within The Plan Or Without Sidewalks In The Areas Outside The Plan. Sidewalks Have Already Been Installed On Some Streets But No Other Work Has Been Done.
