Tenders are invited for Social Behavior Change (SBC) for Agroecological Transitioning. The ARADINA project aims to support and accompany the agroecological transition in Lebanon toward a traceable and environmentally friendly agricultural system that promotes sustainable economic development. The project will be implemented by a consortium comprising Action Against Hunger (ACF), CIHEAM-IAMM and Fair Trade Lebanon, with each partner contributing to specific components and activities to support the agroecological transition in Lebanon. The project seeks to facilitate the adoption of agroecological practices by addressing the social, economic, and behavioral factors influencing farmers decision-making. While agroecological techniques are technically viable, their uptake is often constrained by a range of barriers, including behavioral drivers and prevailing social norms. To address these challenges, the project will apply the RANAS methodology (Risk, Attitudes, Norms, Abilities, and Self-regulation), an evidence-based approach for diagnosing behavioral determinants and designing targeted behavior change strategies. In this context, the consultancy will focus on strengthening the capacity of the ACF team to apply the RANAS methodology. The consultant will provide training and mentoring to ACF staff, support the validation of the behavioral analysis and study design, and offer guidance on the selection and implementation of Behavior Change Techniques (BCTs). ACF team will lead the implementation of the RANAS study, including the study design, data collection, preliminary and final analyses, and the implementation of selected BCTs in collaboration with other consortium partners. The consultancy aims to: Train and build the capacity of ACF staff on the RANAS methodology and how to implement the RANAS study, applying and contextualizing the methodology to agroecological behaviors. Validate study design, data collection tools, and behavioral analysis prepared by ACF staff. Provide guidance on the selection, design, and implementation of context-specific Behavior Change Techniques (BCTs) based on the RANAS framework. Validate the final analysis based on data and initial findings provided by the ACF team Consultancy Timeline: The assignment will be carried out over a period of 12 weeks. How to apply: Interested individual consultants or consulting firms are invited to submit the following documents by email to
