Working with over 2,000 businesses worldwide, IFC uses over six decades of experience to create opportunities and new markets. For more information, visit www.ifc.org. IFCs Financial Institutions Group (FIG) provides investment and advisory solutions to financial intermediaries (banks, microfinance institutions and other financial institutions) in emerging markets to enable them to play a positive role in economic growth. IFCs Financial Institutions Groups Upstream and Advisory Services (US/AS) provides capacity building support to institutions seeking to strengthen their operations, including improving access to finance to the underserved sectors of the economy. IFCs Upstream and Advisory Services (US/AS) also supports banks and microfinance institutions in building a strong and profitable Agri business, leveraging technological innovations. In doing so, IFC draws on its specialized talent pool and institutional experience with hundreds of clients around the world. IFC has signed a Risk Sharing Agreement (RSA) with a leading microfinance bank (the Bank) in Pakistan, to share up to 50 percent of the risk of its loan portfolio to support agriculture and women microfinance borrowers thus improving financial inclusion in the country. Under the Risk Sharing Facility (RSF), the Bank will report to IFC on a quarterly basis and claim for reimbursement from IFC the amount of losses they have incurred on the portfolio on a quarterly basis. IFC will then reimburse the Bank on eligible loans. IFC RSFs require careful monitoring to assess the clients compliance with the terms of the RSA. IFC is seeking to procure a firm to provide access to a tech-enabled portfolio management platform to monitor its investment with the Bank.
