Government Services – Further Training For Around 20,000 Specialists And Managers In Daycare Centers And Childcare Workers In The State Of Saxony-Anhalt On The Educational Program “Education: Elementary – Education From The Start” For The Year 2026. The Educational Program Introduced In The State Of Saxony-Anhalt In 2004 Was Updated In 2025 And Has Been The Binding Basis For Educational Work In All Day Care Centers And Day Care Centers In The State Since August 1, 2025. The 2025 Update Combines Current Scientific Findings With Practical Experiences And Needs. The Program Offers Practical Ideas And Guidelines On Key Topics Such As Childrens Rights, Language Education, Transitions, Diversity And Inclusion, And Democracy Education. As Part Of The Update, The Educational Areas Were Restructured And Supplemented With The Areas Of Education For Sustainable Development As Well As Media And Digital Education. In Order To Anchor The Content Of This Program Sustainably In Practice And To Ensure Uniform Implementation Across The Country, Comprehensive, Free Training Measures Will Be Carried Out In 2026. The Group Of Participants Therefore Refers To Those Groups Of Actors Who Work As Educational Specialists And Managers As Well As Childcare Workers In The State Of Saxony-Anhalt. These Specialists Should Be Trained For A Total Of 16 Hours - Usually Two Full Training Days - And Be Completely Released From Duty To Participate. In Addition, Those Groups Of Actors Who Are Significantly Responsible For Ensuring And Further Developing Pedagogical Quality As Well As Professional Supervision In The Child Day Care System Are Also Included. This Includes Specialist Educational Advice In Accordance With Section 22 Paragraph 3 Of The Kifög As Well As Specialist Supervision By Local Public Youth Welfare Providers. A Total Of Around 20,000 Specialists From Around 1,800 Daycare Centers, Around 400 Providers And Around 150 Daycare Workers Will Have To Be Taken Into Account. The Training Aims To Strengthen The Participants Professional Skills, Further Develop Their Professional Self-Image And Increase The Quality Of Early Childhood Education Processes Throughout The Country. The Training Is Based On A Curriculum Provided By The Client, The Content Of Which Is To Be Conveyed In A Practical Manner By Training Speakers.
