The City Of Langenhagen Wants To Dismantle The Single-Field Gymnasium In Advance As Part Of The Renovation And Expansion Of The Igs Langenhagen School Campus. The Gymnasium Was Designed In The Late 1960S As A Single-Field Gymnasium With A Lower Changing Area And A Gymnastics Room. Below The Entire Building There Is A Crawl Space Consisting Of Individual Corridors And Ventilation Ducts. The Building Is Slightly Elevated On The Property, The Height Difference Is Approx. 0.50 M And Is Structurally Delimited By Angular Retaining Walls, Raised Beds, Stairs And Ramps. Directly Adjacent To The Building Is A Transformer Station Belonging To The Local Energy Supplier, Which Will Remain In Place.
