Electric Vehicles – Electric Low-Floor Articulated Buses. Eswe Verkehrsgesellschaft Gmbh (Hereinafter: Eswe) Is The Leading Provider Of Local Public Transport In Wiesbaden. The Bus Fleet Currently Includes 270 Vehicles With An Average Annual Mileage Of Around 60,000 Km Per Bus. As Part Of The Fleet Renewal And To Further Improve The Offering For Passengers, The Procurement Of Standardized Electric Articulated Buses In A Low-Floor Design Is Planned. The Vehicles Should Be Designed Without Fossil Fuel Auxiliary Heaters And Be Fully Integrated Into The Existing Charging Infrastructure. The Aim Is An Automated Charging And Operating Process, Including Centrally Controlled Preconditioning Of The Vehicles, To Ensure Efficient And Reliable Vehicle Use. The Subject Of This Announcement Is A (Framework) Contract For Up To 26 Purely Battery-Electric, Low-Floor Articulated Buses. The Award Will Result In An Initial Purchase Quantity Of 6 Buses, Which Are To Be Delivered In 2026 If Possible. An Additional Up To 10 Vehicles Can Optionally Be Called Up For Delivery In 2027; A Further Up To 10 Vehicles Correspondingly For The Year 2028. There Is No Entitlement To Call Up The Optional Vehicles. The Details Can Be Found In The Tender Documents Provided On The Tender Platform.
