Laboratory, Optical And Precision Equipments (Excl. Glasses) – Wideband Frequency Multipliers For Continuous Measurement Of Rf Semiconductor Devices Suitable For Vna Measurement Units. Epfl Wishes To Acquire Frequency Multipliers Suitable For Vna And Vmu Measurement Units For The Characterization Of Rf Semiconductor Devices, Continuously Covering A Frequency Range From A Few Mhz Up To Around 250–300 Ghz For Small Signal Characterization, Intended For Its Powerlab At The Institute Of Microtechnology And Electrical Engineering (Iem). The Equipment Will Be Dedicated To Cutting-Edge Research On Millimeter And Sub-Thz Devices As Well As Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuits (Mmic). In Line With The Scientific Goals Of The Powerlab, The Focus Will Be On High-Frequency, High-Power Devices For Next-Generation Communications Applications. Frequency Multipliers Will Be Used To Characterize Rf Devices In The Mhz–250-300 Ghz Range, Connected To A Keysight Pna Network Analyzer.
