Cafeteria Services – Procurement Of Cafeteria And Restaurant Services For The Terrace Of Helsinki Cathedral. Helsinki Cathedral Is One Of Helsinkis Popular Tourist Destinations And The Most Photographed Buildings In The Whole Country. It Is Also A Popular Celebration, Concert And Marriage Church. Annually, The Cathedral Is Visited By 400,000 - 500,000 Visitors. The Object Of The Acquisition Is The Cafe And Restaurant Services Of The Tapuli Terrace Area Of The Helsinki Cathedral Under The Right-Of-Use Agreement. The Service Provider Manages The Service As Its Own Business For Its Own Account And Is Responsible For Acquiring Permits And The Like. Based On This Acquisition, It Is Permitted To Serve At Most Mild Alcoholic Beverages On The Premises. Tapulis Premises Do Not Have A Kitchen, So Food Cannot Be Prepared In The Premises. It Is The Responsibility Of The Selected Service Provider To Also Arrange A Terrace Toilet Solution (Container Toilet) At Their Own Expense. The License Agreement Applies To The Summer Seasons 2026 - 2028. The Agreement Includes An Option For The Next Three Summer Seasons (2029 - 2031). The Right Of Use Agreement Applies To The Procurement Of Café And Restaurant Services Described In Appendix E Of The Procurement Act. This Purchase Includes Options Related To The Operation Of Other Facilities Located On The Cathedral Property And During Events Outside The Summer Season. They Are Described In More Detail In The Request For Tenders And In Its Attachments. The Purpose Of This Purchase Is To Achieve A Functional Solution For The Café And Restaurant Services On The Terrace Of The Cathedrals Tapula. With The Service, We Want To Guarantee Users A Smooth, Tasty And Versatile Experience. The Goal Is That Those Who Visit Our Premises Will Have A Refreshing And Versatile Break In Comfortable, Clean Premises, Accompanied By Friendly Service, In One Of Helsinkis Most Beautiful Historical Sites. One Service Provider Will Be Selected To Carry Out The Procurement. The Helsinki Cathedral Congregation Will Make A Decision About The Purchase In February 2026.
