Expression of Interest for Market Survey/Analysis with FIs, ESCOs and MSMEs - on MSME Energy Efficiency (EE) Financing. Publication Date: 12/22/2025 12:00 AM EST EOI Deadline: 01/15/2026 11:59 PM EST Conduct a sectoral market survey/analysis with FIs, ESCOs and MSMEs to: (a) understand what sectors, industry clusters, technology equipment categories are considered as EE for FIs/MSMEs; (b) Extensive conduct survey / primary discussions - and check the understanding of the sector (FI, ESCO, MSME) on the EE audit processes, understanding of financing opportunities. need for a MSME EE finance toolkit, capacity building, and any associated challenges for the FI sector wrt MSME / ESCO, EE finance; (c) study existing government (and other) schemes on EE finance (in discussion with IFC areas of improvement) and areas of improvement - based on supply/demand inputs (d) conduct a MSME sector analysis on select MSME sectors (15-20 nos.) - mapping process flow of technologies within those sectors, and key equipment vendors suppling the same; (e) Create case-studies of past MSME EE cases (at least 20), which can be helpful for FIs and also used for developing the EE e- learning content. Deliverable will be a report or presentation outlining the key findings on survey findings wrt select MSME EE clusters/technologies areas, provide detailed recommendations and conduct workshops (at least 3) on findings.
