Tenders are invited for Advanced Low Frequency Electric Field Pre-Verification Method In the frame of the CTP of Pre-Verification of THOR Electro Magnetic Cleanliness Approach (ref.: C207-020FM) the above listed problems have been already investigated but extensive validation of the simulation tool has not taken place yet. Therefore, in orderto identify and further decrease the remaining uncertainty of the method established for THOR, the tasks mentioned below under task list are proposed.Task list:- Extensive validation of the tool by utilizing various on-ground and/or in-flight test data. Theobjective is to identify the remaining uncertainty in the low frequency range of 0.1 Hz - 10 MHz.- Establish unit level conducted emission characterisation method that is more suitable for the analysis. Also consider to utilize radiated emission data from harnesses (and units) that are characterised by alternative methods, e.g. reverberation chamber or TEM cells. The objective is to feed thesimulator with inputs that is more suitable for system level analysis than the existing unit level results tested by standard methods.- Implement a method that is capable to remove the facility impact from the model and predict the in-space performance.- Study well established electromagnetic simulation methods, with focus on effectiveness for harness (e.g. method of moments) and implement it in the model.- Assess the correlation of the electric fields with the associated magnetic fields that are typically dominating at these low frequencies and summarize the characteristics of the effective wave impedance.The newly developed test and analyses methods from this activity could be utilised on Plasma Observatory units as an addition to the standard methods.A pre-verification method with the targeted improvements will be important for all next generation missions that carries instruments that are sensitive toelectric fields below 10MHz like the in-situ plasma instrumentation of Plasma Observatory or M-Matisse or the ground penetrating radar of EnVision (SRS) but already flying missions would have benefitted from it like RPWI and RIME of JUICE or RPW-ANT of Solar Orbiter Tender Link : https://esastar-publication-ext.sso.esa.int/ESATenderActions/filter/open
