Child Daycare Services – Provision Of The Service Of School Transport Companions Dependent On The Ministry Of Education.. The Purpose Of The Contract Is To Provide The Service Of School Transport Companions In Public Educational Centers Dependent On The Ministry Of Education In The Community Of Castilla Y León, In The Cases Contemplated In Article 8.1 Of Royal Decree 443/2001, Of April 27, On Safety Conditions In School Transport And For Minors, And Provided That The Transport Is Carried Out In Vehicles With More Than 7 Seats That Transport Students Under Twelve Years Of Age, On The Routes Indicated In Annex I Of The Technical Prescription Document As Well As Those New Routes That May Be Produced In Each Of The Provinces During The Term Of The Contract. Royal Decree 443/2001, Of April 27, On Safety Conditions In School And Minor Transport, Establishes In Its Article 8.1 That The Presence On Board The Vehicle During The Transport Of At Least One Person Of Suitable Age, Other Than The Driver, Accredited By The Entity Organizing The Service, Will Be Mandatory, Unless It Has Been Expressly Agreed That It Be Accredited By The Carrier, Who Knows The Operation Of The Vehicles Safety Mechanisms, In Charge Of The Care Of Minors During Their Transportation And The Operations Of Accessing And Leaving The Vehicle, As Well As, Where Appropriate, The Collection And Accompaniment Of Students From And To The Inside Of The School Premises, In The Cases Specified In Said Article, And In Any Case, Whenever Students From Special Education Centers Are Transported. Likewise, Article 7 Of Order Edu/926/2004, Of June 9, Which Regulates The School Transportation Service In Public Educational Centers Dependent On The Ministry Of Education, Includes The Need For This Service Of School Transportation Companions In All Vehicles With More Than 7 Seats That Transport Students Under Twelve Years Of Age. Likewise, Although It Is Not Mandatory In Accordance With The Aforementioned Regulations, It Has Been Considered Necessary Due To Educational Interest, The Possibility Of Authorizing The Presence Of A Companion In Vehicles With A Capacity Less Than Or Equal To 7 Seats That Transport Students Under 12 Years Of Age. To Comply With This Obligation, It Is Necessary To Contract The Service That Guarantees That A Person Of Legal Age Other Than The Driver Is Present In The Transport Of Schoolchildren In The Established Terms And That He Carries Out The Functions Entrusted To Him In Order To Guarantee Safety In Transport. The Administration Lacks The Means To Meet This Need, Which Is Why It Is Necessary To Call For A Tender For This Contract.
