About the Company Mantis Akagera Game Lodge stands on a hill at the southern tip of the Akagera National Park elevated above the savannah with exceptional views of Lake Ihema with 60 rooms, suites, a conference centre, restaurant and bar. 2. Introduction: Akagera Game Lodge, a local company registered under TIN: 100374346 would like to invite qualified and experienced local contractors to submit bids for renovation of its Swimming Pools. The renovation will include the replacement of swimming pool lights, filtration sand, and a manual valve for the filtration system, as well as the construction of new pool tiles. 3. Scope of the work: The scope of work includes, but not limited to the following tasks: 3.1. Adult Swimming pool: Pool type: Round Diameter: 16 meters Depth: 1.3 m, 1.6 m, and 3 m Total area: 519 sqm Replacement of underwater swimming pool 3 lights Replacement of filtration sand { NB: glasses median sand } Replacement of manual 2 valves for filtration system Replacement of 3 pumps with the following specifications for each pump { type Euro swim 150m / Q 26/23-19 meter cube/h / H8-10-12M / v 220-240V / Max 2.5 bar / TF. 60 S1/ P1 1.6kwh/ p2 1.5 HP / A=7A Replacement of 3 skimmers covers Replacement of 3 swimming pool ladder { stainless steels] Replacement of angle slip equal 80 meters { stainless steel ] Replacement of 1 swimming pool floor drain Construction and installation of new pool tiles 3.2. Kids Swimming Pool: Pool type : Round Diameter: 5.7 meters Depth: 0.7 meters Total area: 20 sqm Installation of one underwater swimming pool light Replacement of 1 swimming pool floor drain Construction and installation of new pool tiles 4. Technical specifications: The selected contractor must adhere to the following technical specifications: 4.1. Pool toles Material: Non-slip ceramic or porcelain tiles suitable for swimming pools. Tile thickness: Minimum 10 mm Colour: Sky blue colour 4.2. Pool lighting LED underwater lights suitable for the pool environment Energy -efficient and waterproof (IP 68 rating or higher) Color: Warm white 4.3. Filtration system High quality filtration sand suitable for swimming pools Manual valve: Durable, corrosion-resistant, and compatible with the existing filtration system. 5. Contractor requirements: Must have at least 3-5 years of experience in swimming pool construction and renovation Signed and stamped 3 Work Completion Certificate(s) of similar works provided by previous clients, Must provide a project timeline and liability period for the work done. 6. Bid submission requirements: Interested bidders must submit the following documents: a)A cover letter expressing their interest in this work, b)Company profile detailing their experience in Swimming pool or similar works, c)A detailed proposal outlining their approach, methodology, and timeline, d)A breakdown of the financial proposals, e)Company registration certificate provided by Rwanda Development Board, f)Valid VAT & RSSB clearance certificates for private companies, g)Any other relevant certificates showing that the interested candidate is eligible for the work. h)At least three references from previous clients. 7. Evaluation Criteria: Proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria: Experience and expertise in Swimming pool/Civil engineering related works, Proposed methodology and approach, References and record of accomplishment, Cost-effectiveness. 8.
