Columbus Water Works Operates The Existing Scwrf, That Has A Current Hydraulic Capacity Of 84Million Gallons Per Day (Mgd) And A Treatment Capacity Of 42 Mgd. Based On Flow Projections Theexisting Scwrf Will Exceed The Treatment Capacity In 2039 And Will Exceed The Hydraulic Capacity In2034. The Existing Plant Is Approaching The End Of Its Useful Life Without Considerable Rehabilitation.Thus, Cww Has Decided To Construct A New Wastewater Treatment Plant With Increased Hydrauliccapacity And Treatment Capacity.The Scope Of Services Being Solicited Under This Request For Proposal Include Pre-Constructionconsultation And Construction Of The New South Columbus Water Resource Facility Adjacent To Theexisting Facility.
