Helicopter Refueling Package – Refueling Unit For Fpl/Hkp. Fmv Has Been Tasked With Procuring Refueling Units For Refueling Aircraft And Helicopters. The Refueling Units Will Replace Existing Units. The Procurement Will Result In Two Contracts, A Contract For Material Procurement And A Framework Agreement For Maintenance. Positions 1-8 Will Be Included In The Fmv Contract And Position 9 Will Be Included In The Framework Agreement With The Armed Forces As A Party. The Framework Agreement For Continuation Will Have A Maximum Validity Of 20 Years (3 Years With The Possibility Of Extension By 2+5+5+5 Years). The Delivery Contract Also Includes Options For An Additional 100 Refueling Units, To A Value Of Sek 180 Million (Item 8). The Scope Of The Option Is Justified By The Following: In The Materiel Plan There Is An Upcoming Mission To Acquire Materiel To Be Able To Introduce The Nato-F34 Propellant. That Investigation Is Currently Underway And Will Involve A Procurement Need And Expansion Of Current Equipment For The Armed Forces, Which Is Deemed To Include The Refueling Units.
