Auxiliary Plant For Use With Boilers – Modification Of The Investment Entitled Construction Of A Power Unit Fired With Fuel Produced From Residues From Sorting Municipal Waste. 1. Definition Of The Subject Of The Order, Description Of The Ordering Partys Needs And Characteristics Of The Supplies: The Ordering Party Is In The Process Of Implementing An Investment Project Called Construction Of A Power Unit Fired With Fuel Produced On The Basis Of Residues From Sorting Municipal Waste - Hereinafter Installation. It Is Initially Planned To Commission The Investment In The Second Quarter Of 2026. The Ordering Party Is Considering Introducing Modifications To The Investment That Will Enable: 1) Increasing The Thermal And Mass Efficiency Of The Installation, Using Devices And Installations Already Delivered As Part Of The Investment, Provided That It Is Technically Feasible, Economically Justified And Permissible For Formal And Legal Reasons, 2) Directing Unsegregated (Mixed) Municipal Waste To The Thermal Transformation Process, Works Design, Supplies And Construction And Installation Works Necessary To Achieve The Above-Mentioned Objectives Of The Ordering Party Are Referred To As Modifications. Current Status (Contracted, Designed, In Progress): 1) Fuel In The Form Of Waste With Codes: 19 12 10, 19 12 12, 19 05 01, 19 05 99. 2) Average (Nominal) Calorific Value Of Waste Approx. 13.0 Mj/Kg, With An Allowable Range Of Variability Of 9.5-15.0 Mj/Kg. 3) Nominal Power Of The Furnace 10.65 Mw, Thermal Power Of The Unit 6.4 Mwt, Electrical Power 1.6 Mwe. 4) Installation Efficiency (Amount Of Waste Burned): 2.95 Mg Per Hour And 25,842 Mg Per Year. The Final Effect Expected By The Investor Related To Increasing The Efficiency Of The Unit: 1) Modernization Of The Power Unit, Resulting In An Increase In The Efficiency Of The Installation (Amount Of Waste Burned) Assuming Operation Of 8,000 H/Year To 3.74 Mg/H And 29,900 Mg Per Year, In Normal (Continuous) Operation. 2) Due To The Increase In Mass Efficiency - Adaptation Of The Installation To The Requirements Of The Bat Conclusions To The Required Extent. 3) Adaptation Of The Installation For Burning Unsegregated (Mixed) Municipal Waste With Code 20 03 01; With The Assumed Calorific Value Of Unsegregated Mixed Municipal Waste At The Level Of Approximately 8.5 Mj/Kg - This Means A Possible Average (Nominal) Calorific Value Of The Input After Modification At The Level Of Approximately 10.5 Mj/Kg. 4) An Additional Effect Of The Modification, And In Particular Of Increasing The Mass Efficiency Of The Installation, Which Should Be Taken Into Account, Will Be An Increase In The Thermal Power Of The Furnace Up To 10%, Above The Contracted And Originally Designed Value. Assuming That The Efficiency Parameters Of The Unit Will Be Maintained, The Nominal Electrical And Thermal Power Of The Unit Should Be Increased Accordingly. A Detailed Description Of The Subject Of The Order, A Description Of The Ordering Partys Needs And The Characteristics Of The Supplies Are Included In Chapter Iv Of The Opiw.
