Engineering-Design Services For Traffic Installations – Bim Planning Lst - Electrification And Expansion Of The Maintalbahn Lph. 1-2 (Opt. 3-4, 5-7 ). The “Electrification And Expansion Aschaffenburg – Miltenberg” Project Is To Be Carried Out As Part Of The Bavarian Electric Mobility Strategy For Rail (Bess). The Line Is To Be Electrified, Double-Tracked In Sections, A Sulzbach Am Main Crossing Station Is To Be Added And The Speed Is To Be Partially Increased. This Is Intended To Increase The Capacity And Flexibility Of The Route So That The Introduction Of A Conflict-Free Half-Hourly Service Is Possible. The Electrification And Expansion Of The Aschaffenburg – Miltenberg Railway Line Is Intended To Implement Various Measures To Decarbonize, Increase Capacity And Accelerate, Thereby Making Local Rail Passenger Transport (Spnv) More Attractive. The 39-Kilometer Transport Connection Consists Of The Vzg Route 5220: Aschaffenburg Hbf - Bft Miltenberg West And The First Two Kilometers Of The Vzg Route 5224: Bft Miltenberg West - Wertheim. The Electrification And Expansion Of The Maintalbahn Is Intended To Enable Transfer-Free Local Rail Transport Connections From Miltenberg To Frankfurt (Main) And Darmstadt With Electric Traction. Due To The Space Required For The Overhead Line, Adjustments To Various Bridges And Tunnel Structures As Well As Lowering Of Tracks In Certain Areas Will Be Necessary Along The Entire Route. In Accordance With The Operational Requirements Resulting From The Planned Vehicles, All Required Platforms Will Be Made To A Usable Length Of 215 M (Order Length 220 M) And Raised To 76 Cm. This Also Results In Adjustments And New Construction Of The Platform Access Paths To Restore Complete Accessibility. The “Electrification And Expansion Aschaffenburg – Miltenberg” Project Is Not Part Of The Ten Core/Overall Network; The “Electrification And Expansion Aschaffenburg – Miltenberg” Project Is Not Part Of The High-Performance Network (Hln); The Project Is Not Anchored In The New Construction And Expansion Strategy Of Db Infrago Ags Network Concept. The Transport Objective Of The Overall Project “Electrification And Expansion Aschaffenburg – Miltenberg” Includes Ensuring The Necessary Capacities In Local Rail Transport For The 2034 Forecast Horizon With Economically Optimal Operating Quality.
