Refuse And Waste Related Services – Cleaning Of Unregulated Landfills On The Territory Of Asenovgrad, Dolni Voden And Gorni Voden Districts. According To The Requirements Of The Current Environmental Legislation, The Mayor Of The Municipality Is Responsible For Preventing The Disposal Of Waste In Unauthorized Places And/Or The Creation Of Illegal Landfills. The Need For Cleaning Arises When Unregulated Waste Is Found On Municipally Owned Land Within The Borders And Beyond The Regulation Of The Settlement. In Most Cases, On The Various Terrains, The Waste Is Dumped In Separate Piles And It Is Necessary To Push And Collect It With Appropriate Equipment. In Other Cases, The Waste Is Accumulated And Compacted In A Layer, And It Is Possible That It Was Formed On A Negative Form Of The Relief. In All Cases, It Is Necessary To Collect The Waste Manually, Since It Is Of Light Fractions Scattered Over A Large Area Or Due To The Specifics Of The Terrain. The Pollution Is Mainly With Construction, Biodegradable And Inert Waste And In These Cases The Terrain Allows For Their Cleaning On Site. In Connection With Unregulated Landfills On The Territory Of Asenovgrad, Dolni Voden And Gorni Voden Quarters, It Is Necessary To Clean Them. Cleaning Is Related To Carrying Out The Following Activities: Leveling And Sealing The Contaminated Territories, As Well As Newly Formed Ones In The Future, And Transporting The Collected Material To A Landfill, With Which The Municipality Of Asenovgrad Has A Contract. ​​​​​​​
