The Ministry Of Forest Is Seeking Proposals From Qualified Proponents With The Capability And Capacity To Undertake A Retrofit Project At The Vanjam Fire Zone Base In Vanderhoof, Bc. The Scope Of Work Involves The Removal Of The Existing Bi-Fold Hangar Door And The Installation Of A New Framed Wall Section. The Proponent Will Be Responsible For Planning And Executing This Work, Which Will Incorporate Four Overhead, Garage-Style Rollup Doors And Five Fixed Windows.The Retrofit Is Designed To Enhance Operational Efficiency, Reduce Ongoing Maintenance Requirements, And Improve Weather Resilience During Winter Operations In Climate Zone 6. The Fixed Windows Will Be Non-Operable And Sized To Match Existing Windows In The Building, Serving To Increase Natural Light Within The Hangar Space.
