Pet Collection And Custody Service In The Garrotxa Region.The Object Of This Contract Is The Contracting Of The Service Of Collection, Care And Custody Of Abandoned Or Lost Pets And The Management Of Feral Cat Colonies Recognized By The Town Councils And Regional Council. The Service Will Be Provided In Accordance With The Obligations Established By Legislative Decree 2/2008, Of April 15, Which Approves The Revised Text Of The Animal Protection Law And The Law 7/2023, Of March 28, Protection Of The Rights And Welfare Of Animals, And Includes, Among Others:- Service For Catching And/Or Collection Of Lost And Abandoned Pets.- Collection Service For Pets Involved In Administrative And/Or Judicial Procedures. - Collection Service For Pet Animals Found Dead On Roads Or Public Spaces.- Custody Service For Collected Pet Animals, At The Pet Reception Center Owned By The County Council, Until Return To The Owner, Adoption, Or Death, Whether Natural Or By Euthanasia By Veterinary Prescription.- Custody Service For Surrendered Pet Animals For The Owners At The La Garrotxa County Council.- Temporary Custody Service For Destitute Animals Or Whose Owners Cannot Take Care Of Them Due To Situations Of Vulnerability Previously Authorized By The La Garrotxa County Council. - Control And Monitoring Of Feral Cat Colonies Recognized By Town Councils And County Councils And Of Those That May Be Established In The Future.- Operation, Maintenance And Conservation Of County Animal Custody Facilities.- Veterinary Services.
