As Part Of The Nationwide Rollout Of Digital Interlocking Technology (Dstw), The Existing, Out-Of-Date Interlocking Technology On Route 3010 In The Section Between Km 37.680 And Km 53.880 Will Be Replaced By Modern Dstw Technology. The Implementation Takes Place As Part Of The Expansion Of The First Construction Stage Of The Pre-Series Project Dstw Koblenz–Trier (Dstw Kotr). The Technology Location And The Operating Location Are Located At Wittlich Train Station (In The Area Of The First Construction Stage). The Control Units For The Operating Points In Treis-Karden, Cochem And The Free Route From Cochem And Bullay Are Carried Out By The Track Field Concentrators In The Respective Operating Points. Project Scope And Location The Project Area Extends Along The Double-Track, Electrified Main Line 3010 Between The Operating Locations: Pommern Stop Klotten Stop Cochem Train Station (Sp Dr S60) Ediger-Eller Train Station Treis-Karde Train Station (Dr S2) Part Of The Project Area Are: The Existing Cochem And Treis-Karden Train Stations The Kaiser Wilhelm Tunnel A Total Of Five Level Crossings, Which Are New As Part Of The Dstw Integration Need To Be Connected Or Adjusted. The Technical Supplier Is Hitachi Rail (Formerly Thales), Which Was Commissioned To Provide The Equipment As Part Of The First Construction Phase. The Expansion Measure Will Be Planned And Put Into Operation Parallel To The First Construction Phase In Order To Ensure A Consistent, Technically Coordinated Commissioning Of The Entire Route.
