Biodiversity Monitoring Aims To: • Verify The Conservation Status Of Species And Habitats Directly Or Indirectly Affected By The Operation Of The 400 Kv Gutinaș–Smârdan Lea, • Assess The Effectiveness Of Specific And Operational Measures To Prevent And Reduce The Impact On The Conservation Objectives And The Integrity Of Ropspa 0071 And Rosci 0162, • Provide Scientific Data Necessary For Reporting To The Environmental Authorities And Complying With Legal Obligations. The Duration Of The Contract Is 38 (Thirty-Eight) Months From The Date Mentioned In The Start Order Of The Sectoral Service Contract. The Start Order Will Be Given After The Completion Of The Works And The Commissioning Of Lea Gutinaș Smârdan And The First Payment Under The Contract Will Be Made In 2027, The Pif Of Lea Gutinaș Smârdan Is Estimated To Be Carried Out In The First Semester Of 2026, From Which Point The Start Order Will Be Given For The First Biological Monitoring Cycle.
