Request For Quotationsspecifications Of Goods And Scope Of Servicesto Maintain Interoperability With Existing Infrastructure, Equipment, Control Systems, Software And Services The City Is Replacing Enterprise Level Cisco Ucs Hardware At A Few Locations That Have Reached End Of Life. The City Requires Purchase Of The Latest Cisco Hardware As Referenced On Schedule A-1 To Support The Ng911 Initiative. The Contractor Shall Furnish All Necessary Materials, Products, Equipment, Labour, Transportation, And Services For The Supply, Delivery, Install And Configuration Of Cisco Ucs Infrastructure Hardware, Software, Network And Other Infrastructure Components And In Accordance With This Rfq, That Are Needed To Set Up For The New Cisco Ng911 Hardware (The “Goods And Services”).These Services Are To Deliver On The Objective Of Minimal Delivery And Completion Dates, While Cognizant Of Budgetary And Supply Chain Constraints, And Focusing On The Delivery And Completion Within The Time Scales Desired By The City. The Contractor Shall Assist City Information Technology Staff To Rack, Stack, Setup And Configure The Operating Environment. The Contractor Will Also Assist City Information Technology Staff To Test And Verify That The Operating Environment Is Configured To Meet The Expectations Of The City’S Project Team. The Contractor Will Assist The City With The Following:• Provide Technical Assistance In The Form Of General Advice And Guidance To The City Specifically For Installation, Integration And Configuration Of The Cisco Ucs Server Hardware;• Provide Cisco Ucs Server Hardware Knowledge Transfer And Mentoring Of Operational And Security Best Practices;• The Contractor To Provide An Operational Hand-Off To City Staff Once The Implementation Is Complete.• Test The Cisco Ucs Server Hardware With City Technical Staff To Ensure It Is Configured And Functioning Properly;• Conduct A Pre-Installation Design Workshop To Review And Confirm Networking Requirements, Cabling, Equipment Installation, Power, System And Software Installation, Etc.;• Unpack And Rack Equipment (Chassis, Servers Etc.);• Perform Basic System Installation And Configuration As Per Standard Cisco Best Practices;• Provide As-Built, Design, And Configuration Documentation; And• Provide All Available User Documentation And/Or Manuals.Addendaif The City Determines That An Amendment Is Required To This Rfq, The City Representative Will Issue A Written Addendum By Posting It On The Bc Bid Website At Www.Bcbid.Gov.Bc.Ca And The City Website At Www.Surrey.Ca (Collectively, The “Websites”), And Upon Posting, Any Addenda Will Form Part Of This Rfq. It Is The Responsibility Of Contractors To Check The Websites For Addenda. The Only Way This Rfq May Be Added To, Or Amended In Any Way, Is By A Formal Written Addendum. No Other Communication, Whether Written Or Oral, From Any Person Will Affect Or Modify The Terms Of This Rfq Or May Be Relied Upon By Any Contractor.
