Railway-Track Maintenance Services – Framework Arrangement For Metrorada Rail Wheel Excavator Works. Pääkaupunkiseudun Kaupunkiliikenne Oy (Kaupunkiliikenne Oy) Organizes, On Behalf Of The Helsinki City Transport Authority (Hkl) And Länsimetro Oy (Hereafter Also The Client Or Procurement Entity), A Tender For Maintenance And Maintenance Work On The Metro Line To Be Performed As A Framework Arrangement With A Rail Wheel Excavator In Accordance With This Call For Tenders And Its Appendices. The Object Of The Procurement Is The Rail Wheel Excavator Work Performed On The Subway Network Maintained By The Customer, Incl. Replacement Of Rails And Sleepers, Snow Work And Other Similar Work (Hereinafter Service). In More Detail, The Object Of The Procurement Is Presented In Appendix 1, Service Description, Of The Draft Contract Attached To The Request For Tender. The Procurement Has Not Been Divided Into Parts, Because The Service Cannot Naturally Be Divided Into Separate Procurement Entities Due To The Content Of The Service Without It Being A Case Of Splitting The Service. A Total Supplier Is The Most Effective Solution For The Customer In Terms Of Work Management (For Example, Orientation Can Be Targeted This Way). Suppliers And Potential Subcontractors Selected For The Framework Arrangement Must Complete Safety Training Organized By The Customer At The Beginning Of The Contract Period, Which Includes Things Required For Safe Work And Movement On The Metro Line. Metro Line Maintenance Work Cannot Begin Until The Above-Mentioned Trainings Have Been Completed With Approval. The Customer Will Organize Machine Operator Training For The Suppliers Selected In The Framework Arrangement To Enable Independent Work On The Metro Line During The Contract Period.
