Security Equipment - Request For Participation: Technology Procurement For Security Assistance. The Welfare Area Of Länsi-Uusimaa (Later Separately Also The Client Or Procurement Unit) Requests Candidates To Send An Application For Participation In The Competitive Negotiation Procedure For The Technology Procurement Of Safety Assistance In Accordance With This Request For Participation And Its Appendices. The Object Of The Procurement Is Technology To Be Taken Home By The Residents Of Western Uusimaa, A Security Alarm Center System As A Software Service, And The Introduction Of The System And Technology To The Welfare Area Of Western Uusimaa. The Scope Of The Acquisition Also Includes Continuous Services, Support And Maintenance Services, And Maintenance Services. The Content, Limitations And More Precise Requirements Of The Procurement Object Will Be Specified During The Procurement Procedure. The Welfare Area Of Länsi-Uusimaa Has Produced Safety Assistance Services For The Residents Of The Area As A Purchase Service. It Is Intended To Be Implemented In Stages From Q4/2026 To Ensure A Safe Transition. With The Procured Solution, We Want To Enable Independent Living At Home For As Long As Possible For The Residents Of The Area. The Solution Should Increase The Safety And Sense Of Security Of The Customer Living At Home And Enable Quick Access To Help In Sudden/Unpredictable Situations. It Must Be Possible To Assess The Situation And Support The Customer Remotely. The Safety Assistance Service And The Technology That Supports This (The Solution To Be Procured) Must • Support A Quick Response To The Customers Needs • Ensure Correctly Targeted Help For The Customer In Unforeseen Situations • Increase The Productivity Of Home Care (E.G. An Increase In The Immediate Working Hours Of Night-Time Home Care, A Decrease In The Hourly Price Per Customer) • Promote Cost Efficiency: Producing The Service As An In-House Operation Is Cheaper Than The Current Service Produced As A Purchased Service And • Enable An Excellent Customer Experience. Security Technology For Living At Home Includes, For Example (However, Not Limited To The Following List): • Security Phones / Central Units, • Security Bracelets, • Well-Being Bracelets, • Positioning Sensors, • Door And Window Sensors, • Stove And Stove Sensors / Guards, • Fire Sensors And Alarms, • Carbon Monoxide Sensors, • Motion Sensors, • Humidity Sensors, • Fall Sensors/Presence Sensors And • Other Home Security And The Technical Sensors And Sensors To Be Connected To The Service During The Contract Period That Support Independent Living. The Content Of The Procured Technology Can Be Specified During Negotiations. The Acquisition Includes An Alarm Center System Software That Gathers The Technology Data Described Above And Ensures The Customers Safety
