These Model States Are To Be Updated To 2026/2027. The Year Of Analysis Refers To The Year In Which The Model Was Created And Can Vary Due To The Successive Development Or Temporal Dependencies Of The Models (E.G. The Regional Traffic Model 2026 And The Urban Traffic Models 2027). The Regional Transport Model Forms The Basis For The Development (Coupling) Of The Two Urban Transport Models (Braunschweig And Wolfsburg). This Methodical, Integrated Approach Ensures Consistent Compatibility Between The Individual Traffic Models. The Update Is Necessary Due To Traffic Developments. The Regional Association And The Cities Of Braunschweig And Wolfsburg Intend To Use The Update To Answer Important Questions For Infrastructure Projects And To Be Able To Make Statements On Spatial And Transport Policy Decisions. The Traffic Models Should Be Created In Such A Way That They Represent The Current State Of Science And Technology As Well As Practice, Can Be Used By The Clients For Their Own Use And Can Be Used To Hand Over The Entire Model To Third Parties For Further Investigations.
