A Mass Spectrometer Is An Analytical Instrument Used To Identify And Quantify Molecules Based On Their Mass-To-Charge Ratio. An Ftir (Fourier Transform Infrared) Spectrometer Is An Analytical Instrument That Measures How A Sample Absorbs Infrared Light Across A Wide Spectral Range. By Applying A Fourier Transform To The Recorded Interferogram, An Infrared Spectrum Is Produced That Reveals The Sample’S Molecular Vibrations, Enabling Identification And Characterisation Of Chemical Bonds, Functional Groups, And Material Composition.
